03 May 2010, Norwin signed a cooperation agreement with the Dutch
installation and service company Wind Turbine Service (WTS b.v.). With
this agreement, WTS b.v. and Norwin A/S are officially entering into a
cooperation to sell, install and service Norwin wind turbines in a number of
countries. The parties will e.g. follow repowering projects in The Netherlands,
new installations across Europe as well as in regions where WTS b.v. already has
a strong presence; like in Indonesia. WTS b.v.
has been in the market for wind turbines for many years and Norwin expects that
this experience will be a good foundation for improving Norwin’s market presence
in Europe.

Norwin signs Cooperation
Agreement with Italian company Societa Elettrica Italiana On 29
April 2010, the Italian company Societa Elettrica Italiana (SEI) and Norwin signed a
cooperation agreement. SEI will from now on be selling, installing and servicing
Norwin wind turbines in Italy. The agreement covers the 750 kW and 225 kW wind
turbines. However, special attention is being paid to market the 200 kW wind
turbines, which suit many potential investors in Italy perfectly due to its

With immense anticipation, the implementation of the Strata SE1 wind turbines was initiated last week. Installation of blades and commissioning of the turbines is expected to commence shortly. The NOVA Award is an annual award instituted by the Construction Innovation Forum (CIF), an international non-profit organization, since 1989, to encourage and recognize innovation improving quality, efficiency and xost effectiveness of construction. In March 2009, Norwin and Aeronautica Windpower entered into a technology transfer and licensing agreement. The agreement gives Aeronautica Windpower the exclusive rights to manufacture the Norwin 750 kW and the Norwin 225 kW wind turbines for the North American and Caribbean market. Aeronautica Windpower, based in Massachusetts in the US, is a full service, fully integrated wind turbine manufacturing company that provides mid-scale (65 to 750) turbines and towers, perfect for the market sector of distributed energy, community wind energy and small wind farms. The first Aeronautica/Norwin wind turbines are expected to be ready for installation in the beginning of 2010. However, Norwin is about to install the first 225 kW wind turbine in California, which is an example of the wind turbine technology that will be available from Aeronautica. In the next period, the turbine operation will be closely monitored and the operation will gradually be enhanced. For the same reason the turbines are expected to have a number of stand still periods. October
08, the final step in Reliance ADA acquiring 33% of
the shares in Norwin A/S was taken. As a part of the agreement, Mr.
Sudhindra Rao of Reliance ADA and CEO of Global Wind Power Ltd. took the
position as Vice Chairman in Norwin.

erected in Dominica, the Caribbean! May 2008 - we signed the Castle House project, our second Building Integration Wind Turbine project. Castle House in London consists of three pieces 20 kW at 140 m, a rotor diameter of approx. 9 m and Venturi mounted. March 2008 - For the first time,
Norwin makes each of the 3 Bahrain
World Trade Center wind turbines cut in on the building grid, producing power for a short

Geographic runs the first show: "MEGASTRUCTURES - BAHRAIN WORLD TRADE CENTRE"
in the UK. The show is expected to be broadcasted in the rest of the world in
March and April.
January 2008 - Norwin and Global Wind Power Ltd. sign an
agreement that gives Global Wind Power Ltd. a miniority share in Norwin.
December 2007 - Norwin and Ramboll finalize the feasibility
report for the Lighthouse in Dubai and expect to continue with the project.
November 2007 - Norwin gets the first wind turbine on the
Bahrain World Trade Center rolling, which is a major step forward for the
project. September 2007 - Norwin enters into an agreement with the
Reliance controlled company Global Wind Power Limited in India for
manufacture of the Norwin 750 kW wind turbine. August 2007 - Norwin enters into the first agreement in USA,
California, for a 225 kW wind turbine for delivery in 2008. June 2007 - Norwin finalizes an agreement for delivery of one
225 kW turbine in Dominica in the Caribbean in the beginning of 2008. May 2007 - Norwin enters into an agreement with the Chinese
company Gaoke regarding sale and manufacture of the Norwin 750 kW ASR
wind turbine and the Norwin 225 kW stall regulated wind turbine. |
